Self-introduction:
Hi. My name is Fatima, a 27 years old english teacher from iran, with a master degree in english literature and i've recently started a TESOL course. I've been teaching english for about 8 years now, teaching both children and adults, ranging in age from 4 to 62. As an english teacher i believe there's no "best way" teaching english because people learn differently but while working with children i've found TPR yo be extremely effective and motivating. In spite of most schools tendency to hire a native speaker as an english teacher i think a non-native english teacher has mor advantages. Since a non_native learns language and his/her knowledge is conscious and has the ability to explain the rules and is aware of challenges. But a native speaker learns language at home and his/her knowledge is at sub-conscious level. So i'm really looking forward to hearing from you.
