I am presenting my resume for the elementary art teacher and English teacher at this school. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a major in art education. I have over 24 years of teaching experience. I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of this academic team. Also have a TESOL certificate.

The enclosed resume will highlight my career accomplishments and demonstrate my creative teaching and leadership abilities. The last two years, I worked at Tsinghua University International High School as an elementary art teacher for preschool to grade 5 students. I successfully design lesson plans and curriculum for this new start up school in Beijing, China. I also had to design the art room, ordered art supplies, designed lesson plans and PowerPoint for each grade level. I organized and set up art exhibitions. I also developed and planned after school activities such as cooking class, French classes, yoga and arts and crafts programs.

I have educated all styles of learners and fostered a fun and engaging learning environment that effectively teaches art appreciation, promotes creativity and encourages independent creative growth.

One of my greatest strengths as an educator is meeting each students' unique needs by developing a lessons plans to suit their ability level.

My goal is to increase students' motivation, awareness and understanding of famous artist, elements of design and color theory. I also implement interdisciplinary based lessons involving social studies, science, math, language arts and multi-culturalism.
